Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India:A historic milestone in infrastructure development was marked in Indore with the inauguration of new Terminal-1 at Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Airport. The state-of-the-art terminal was officially inaugurated by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, symbolizing a major leap forward in the city’s aviation and connectivity infrastructure. Adding to the significance of the occasion, the terminal received the prestigious AQC US Quality Certification from the American Quality Council. The certificate was presented by Member of Parliament Shankar Lalwani, along with Rajesh Shukla and Dr. Rajiv Shrivastava, recognizing the terminal’s adherence to international standards in design, safety, and passenger experience. Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu joined the ceremony virtually and extended his guidance and congratulations, emphasizing the importance of modern aviation hubs in boosting regional growth and economic activity. The event witnessed the presence of several prominent leaders, including Cabinet Minister Tulsi Ram Silawat, Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav, Chairman Sumit Mishra, and MLAs Usha Thakur, Ramesh Mendola, Mahendra Hardia, and Malini Gaur. Senior officials from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation were also present. The newly inaugurated terminal is expected to enhance passenger capacity, improve travel efficiency, and position Indore as a key aviation hub in central India, further accelerating its growth trajectory.
